A Pause Is Not the End of It · dub techno for taking breaks

A second take on the same shape: a steady head nod at the start and at the end, and a long stretch in between where the beat steps out. In that gap the warm bass and the long echoing chords keep going on their own, with wind whistling through a chimney. Then the woodblock, mallets and shaker drop back in unchanged, as if nothing happened. Tape hiss and a low drone hold it all together. Music for thinking, drawing and building.
