Leon Fisher spent 15 years serving in the RAF as a Chinook pilot with 18 Squadron.
During that time, he completed five consecutive summer tours of Afghanistan during Op Herrick, flying over 100 missions and helping extract more than 150 casualties from the battlefield.
But the experiences of what he saw during service took a toll on his mental health and Leon was medically discharged with PTSD in 2015.
Since then, he has worked within the military charity sector and now uses his story to help others.
This film contains references to PTSD which some individuals may find distressing.
