R9 Buttonwillow Circuit 2026-09-06 Ses4 (1:56.1) PTT

Event Buttonwillow Circuit 2026-09-06 Pacific Track Time (PTT) Group A Session 4 1. Second time here at this track. A bit warmer than back in April. 2. Lap comparison is from April. Dropped 7.4 sec off previous time here, but that was my second track day ever. Braking quite a bit later and just moving faster in most places. Still not sure what the best lines are at this track. Still a lot to learn and work on out there. 3. Changes to bike! Moved the shift rod toward the pedal. Less leverage, but also less pedal movement needed to shift. Seemed to resolve me hitting neutral. Don’t recall doing it once. 4. No more GoPro Hero 13. Using that for work now. Another AcePro2 has been put in its place for the forward facing camera. GoPro battery life was not great, needed a mic sock, got way too hot, and the buttons are finicky. I do miss the magnetic charge door, but don’t miss needing a special cable. 5. Tried the same SC1 from previous track day at THill West that was completely gone on the left side. Was thinking this track is CW, so how bad could it be. Lol, well the Circuit is 6 rights and 4 lefts, so a decently balanced track. Comical how much slower I was going on the left turns. 6. Met Steveo, R9 rider, awesome dude. 7. Met Jason and Rick (Aprilia and BMW). Followed Jason around on one of the sessions. Got a bunch of tips for THill West from Rick. These guys are fast.
