The Wankel Engine. Mazda's Masterpiece. Code-named "Project Evelyn", this 1985 factory stock Mazda RX-7 has a 1.3L fuel-injected rotary engine, that just happens to be perfect for drifting, well, with a turbo. And this project is not going to stop there. Starting in late December (early January), we are going to tear this entire car down to the frame and do a full restore, including an imported JDM 20b (2.0L) rotary motor with a twin-turbo system, along with a welded differential and a custom suspension, just for drifting. In the mean time, this car is in need of some serious repairs, so I can drive it to school every day. However, as soon as I graduate and move to my new job, it is going up on a lift, and we will have endless videos of this car being torn down and built back up into the most epic vintage drift car you will ever see!
