Morning Prayers: Verses of Praise: Baruch Hashem Leolam – Part 02 (Class 128)

Join Rabbi Ben Tzion Krasnianski as he continues teaching Baruch Hashem Leolam — David’s blessing before the entire assembly, recited in Pesukei Dezimra. And David blessed God in the presence of the entire assembly, and David said: “Blessed are You, God, the Lord of our father Israel, from this world until the World to Come. The greatness, the might, the splendor, the victory, and the glory are all Yours, for everything in heaven and on earth [is Yours]. Kingship and the rule of all leaders [derives from] You. Wealth and honor come from You, and You rule over all; in Your hand are strength and might; and it is in Your hand to grant anyone greatness and strength. And now, our God, we thankfully acknowledge You and praise Your splendid name.” In Part 02, Rabbi Krasnianski explores David’s public blessing — acknowledging that greatness, might, splendor, victory, and glory all belong to God, that kingship and strength come from Him, and that we therefore thankfully acknowledge and praise His name.
