Michael was still far from fully recovered vocally. Whatever illness he had clearly affected his voice quite severely during this period, and the effects would remain noticeable for a long time throughout the tour. "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin'" – A random ball suddenly flies onto the stage at 4:32. Vocally, Michael is already showing signs of the condition he was dealing with. "This Place Hotel" – I added some extra guitar parts in a few sections. At 7:21, Michael tries to say "heart", but his voice doesn't come out completely. It's one of the clearest examples of how bad the cold he caught really was. At 8:09, he does a different pose that he usually doesn't do during this song. One thing I really enjoy is how his energy starts increasing near the end. "Another Part Of Me" – Unlike Wembley, this version sounds much fuller overall. The vocal problems are also more noticeable here, with many cracks, flat notes, and obvious struggles throughout the song. Despite that, the instrumental performance is beautiful. "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" – The audience is absolutely insane during this one. You can clearly hear them singing almost the entire first verse, along with other sections later in the song. The bass at 18:41 sounds incredible. Sheryl's attempt at 19:13 doesn't go very well lmao. "She's Out Of My Life" – Standard performance. "Jackson 5 Medley" – I absolutely love the keyboard during the introduction. The instrumental work throughout the medley is fantastic from start to finish. Easily a 10/10 arrangement. "Rock With You" – The little keyboard part at the beginning sounds great. It's a shame they stopped doing it in later performances. Once again, Michael's vocal condition is very noticeable here. "Human Nature" – Another song that shines instrumentally. The drumming at 36:56 is slightly different. The section at 37:19 is one of my favorite moments of the entire show, for some reason, Michael's voice suddenly sounds much stronger and cleaner there. During the final dance section, somebody appears to lose the timing. "Smooth Criminal" – Michael's microphone sounds on at 42:50. At 44:55, he loses the timing of the dance for a moment. I really enjoy the instrumental arrangement here, especially the bass, sounds excellent "Dirty Diana" – I absolutely love the section at 48:48. The kick drums sound fantastic and give the song a lot of power. Considering Michael's vocal condition, I'd say this is a strong performance. "Thriller" – I love the way Michael delivers the opening line of the song. The synths and strings sound good here. "Working Day And Night" – The vocals at 1:00:03 sound very hoarse. The section at 1:01:12 is excellent, the bass line sounds fantastic, and Michael's voice comes in with much more strength. "Beat It" – Standard performance. "Billie Jean" – The horns almost sound like they have an echo effect enabled, which makes it seem like they're playing twice. I never get tired of hearing that sound at 1:17:31. At 1:19:33, Michael attempts the high notes, but only falsetto comes out. Interestingly, he doesn't even attempt any "aow". "Bad" – Standard performance. After the music starts playing again, it almost sounds like the band isn't fully paying attention, as only the synth bass enters at first. "The Way You Make Me Feel" – 1:37:57 lol. "Man In The Mirror" – Ricky's hi-hat work at 1:43:45 sounds fantastic, i wish more performances used this variation. I also prefer the way the bass enters at 1:44:56, as it makes the buildup feel much more epic. I'm completely in love with that synth bass sound at 1:45:34.
