In this episode I work on repairing and reinstalling Tally Ho’s original transom timbers. Being Teak, they have escaped rot, but have a lot of damaged areas and holes that need to be filled with plugs and graving pieces. I also need to add a couple of new planks, so I visit a friend with some Teak for sale, and have a look around his interesting workshop. The planks are joined together with vertical splines and fastened to the stern of the boat.
