(PSALM 92:10 KJV) EXPLANATION: God shall lift you from the ashes, anoint you, exalt your horn, and lead you into freedom. "But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil." (Psalm 92:10) We meditate on this promise. God delights in raising the lowly. He turns mourning into gladness. As Isaiah 60:22 says, "A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time." Perhaps you are at a low point in your career, family, or studies, uncertain of the future. Remember: Jesus is your life and resurrection. He can exalt you, multiply you, and bring honor in the land. This promise is yours because Christ gave up all things, that His children might inherit all things. With the horn, the wild beast prevails over enemies; likewise, God gives you strength to rise and be victorious. The Bible says, "But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head." (Psalm 3:3) Are you burdened by sin, shame, grief, or loneliness? God anoints your head with oil before your enemies and prepares a feast for you. "Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty." (2 Corinthians 3:17) "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth." (John 16:13) "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:32) As a rhinoceros destroys with its horn, the Spirit empowers you to overcome bondage and opposition. In Jesus’ name, excel in studies, career, and family life; be promoted in holiness, wealth, and health; let your name be honored. We live in the last days when the Lord pours out His Spirit upon all flesh. David testifies of a fresh anointing. Each day brings new strength, blessing, and grace. You cannot live on yesterday’s oil. The Lord delights to fill you afresh with His power. If you walk in His strength, you need not fear your enemies. David also said: "Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over." (Psalm 23:5) Why fresh oil? Life’s journey brings many hurting souls. The anointing in you can heal their wounds and comfort them. The good Samaritan carried oil and wine. Finding the wounded man, he poured them out for healing. The wine speaks of Christ’s blood, and the oil, the Holy Spirit. Your anointing is for those broken by the enemy. You are called to minister to them. Beloved, keep the oil of the Spirit in your vessel. Let love fill your heart. If each morning you are filled anew, you will bless all you meet. PRAYER Dear Lord, thank You for promises that give hope. Thank You, the lifter of my head, strength behind my horn. When I was low, You raised me and crowned me with joy. Today I receive: "But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil." Anoint me with the Spirit’s oil. Remove shame, sorrow, and struggle. Prepare a table before me and lift me in triumph. Pour out new oil; strengthen me through trials; remind me that sufferings prepare me for glory. Just as Joseph was lifted from the pit to honor, so will You raise me in due time. Thank You for Your mercy.
