Lost Girl - Joseph Decosimo, Luke Richardson, Cleek Schrey + I 85 underpass

Lost Girl from our new record "Beehive Cathedral" available here: https://josephdecosimo.bandcamp.com/a... We learned it from our visits with the great fiddler Clyde Davenport in Jamestown, TN and later in Monticello, KY. While we're familiar with versions in the keys of G and C from VA, NC, WV, and KY, Clyde's is the only one we've come across in D and feels quite different from the others. We're playing it below I 85 in Durham, NC. Joseph and Cleek are fiddling. Luke is playing the banjo. The record is available via Dear Life Records. https://www.josephdecosimo.com/ https://www.instagram.com/josephdecos... https://www.instagram.com/cleekschrey... #folkmusic #folk #clawhammerbanjo #banjo #violin #fiddle #oldtimemusic #traditionalmusic
