2025 Oregon Country Fair Late Night set - Cello Joe

Pedal-Powered Freestyle Cypher with Live Cello, Beatbox & Looping | Oregon Country Fair 2025 Late Night Late night at the 2025 Oregon Country Fair, on the Stewardship Stage in Veneta, Oregon, the crowd ran the whole show. Literally. This set was powered by a pedal-powered sound system built by Rock the Bike. Audience members took turns hopping on the bike and pedaling to keep the music going, then grabbed the mic to freestyle while they kept the power flowing. Everybody who wanted a turn got one, and the energy only built from there. Underneath it all, Cello Joe built live loops on the spot with cello, beatboxing, and layered percussion, creating a groove for whoever stepped up to the mic. Rappers, singers, first-timers, and total strangers all got their moment. Nothing was planned or pre-recorded. The people in front of the stage made the sound, and the music kept going as long as someone kept pedaling.
