Interro and Mint open the Osaka Major super show with Sparky on the APAC format problem, then bring in Pengu, Twister and Troy to rank every region heading into the biggest Rainbow Six Siege event of the year.
The panel starts with APAC's one qualification slot and the counter-strat arms race it creates, then moves region by region. Twister explains why FaZe Clan refuse to touch a roster that has already won SI and the Esports World Cup, and the group digs into VITAKING's breakout stage and whether coming off shield duty is the reason for it. From there the show debates whether the North America League is genuinely the deepest region or just the most inconsistent one, why Brazil stays permanently top heavy, and why EMEA has quietly gone flat despite G2 and Team Falcons. Troy, who recently left Shopify Rebellion, argues that any team with a chance to upgrade should take it, and goes several rounds with Sparky over whether APAC's format is really so different from everyone else's. The last hour is all North America: Cloud9's rise under Panbazou, whether poaching rumors will crack the roster at the worst possible time, and a long disagreement about map pool size, repick and whether Siege should shorten its rounds to keep an audience.
Topics covered:
⦁ Sparky says APAC's one slot forces teams to spend six months countering a single opponent
⦁ Should imports be restricted so regions are represented by their own players?
⦁ Why FaZe Clan win by never making the upgrade every other org chases
⦁ Is VITAKING's best stage ever just the result of getting off shields?
⦁ Shield usage is collapsing in Brazil while North America barely bans them
⦁ Is the North America League the most competitive region or just the least consistent?
⦁ Why Brazil's smaller orgs exist to sell players rather than win titles
⦁ EMEA has nine English-speaking teams and nowhere near enough IGLs
⦁ Cloud9 are the story of the stage, and three of them have never played a LAN
⦁ Should Siege cut the map pool to seven and shorten the round timer?
