Welcome to subscribe and support our growing YouTube channel:    / @layangfamily   Star Jasmine, also known as Confederate Jasmine, is a popular flowering vine plant in California and southern U.S. states, where it is used both on vertical trellis applications as well as a spreading ground cover. This evergreen vine plant is prized for its very fragrant, star-shaped, white flowers which bloom all summer long, and blanket of thick, dark green foliage. In this video we'd like to show you how to easily propagate a bunch of Star Jasmine at the same time using air layering technique, so you can simply produce tons of this vine plant once for all. We have once successfully used this technique (plastic cup way) to propagate some Star Jasmine, so it really works very well. For this technique, you do not need any other special tools or materials except for potting soil, plastic sheet and twist ties. Basically you just remove the leaves form the vine, expose the wound areas around the nodes, then wrapped with pre-moistened soil ball, and finally covered with plastic sheet and keep inside soil moist. The next thing you need to do is just WAITING! The longer you wait the better result you get. That's it! Super simple and super easy! You do not need to perform this using rooting hormone.
