I got exactly what I prayed for

What happens when you finally get the thing you prayed for, but it arrives in a way you never expected? About a year ago, I was exhausted in every sense of the word. My body was sending me signals that I desperately needed to slow down, but I convinced myself that stopping wasn't an option. Then life made the decision for me. Losing my job brought fear, uncertainty, and a lot of questions. But underneath all of that, I also felt something I didn't expect: relief. This is a story about rest, burnout, self-trust, and what happened when I finally had to slow down long enough to listen to myself. And somewhere along the way, I started asking a different question: when I still had choices, why didn't I trust myself enough to make one? I'm still figuring it out, and maybe you are too. I'm learning to invite momentum into every season of my life instead of waiting for perfection. Maybe you can too.
