The transformation on the mountain was not just a visual miracle, but a divine encounter that reshaped the understanding and faith of Peter, James, and John forever. The Transfiguration: Witnessing the moment Jesus’ face shone like the sun and His clothes became white as light, revealing His true essence (Matthew 17). Eyewitness Accounts: How Peter and John later testified about the majesty they saw and the voice they heard from the "Excellent Glory" (2 Peter 1 & John 1). From Fear to Assurance: Understanding the Father’s decree, "Listen to Him," and how Jesus’ touch removes fear and empowers us to see Him alone. The Glorified King: Connecting the earthly transfiguration to the majestic vision John saw of the Risen Lord on the island of Patmos (Revelation 1). Beholding the glory of Christ shifts our focus from the temporary to the eternal and fuels a life of true worship and surrender.
