I've been asked before about making a video to compare the sound of a turntable plugged into an amp's built-in phono stage vs a dedicated separate phono stage plugged into an amp. I don't really need to. Listen to any of the demoes with the P5 turntable with Ortofon 2M Blue cartridge to hear the Mira 3 amplifier's built in phono stage. Any of the P5 demos with the Goldring 1042 used the Creek OB-H 15 phono stage with the Mira 3 amp, and most of the RP8 videos use the Aria Phono Stage and my Elex-R amp. There are two versions of "Thriller" which strongly make the case for the upgrade from P5/Goldring 1042/Creek OB-H 15/Mira 3 to the RP8/Exact/Aria/Elex-R.
