Took some time to explore Singapore while on my exchange at SMU. Hit up all the iconic spots—Garden by the Bay at sunset hits different, Marina Bay Sands Club & Casino for the city vibes, Night Safari was genuinely one of the coolest things I've done, and the neighborhoods (Chinatown, Little India) have their own charm and stories. Singapore's the kind of place that feels polished on the surface but has real layers when you dig in. The food scene alone is worth the trip, the MRT gets you everywhere, and there's something for every mood—whether you want nightlife, nature, culture, or just wandering. Being an exchange student here meant I could take my time and actually connect with the city instead of rushing through a typical tourist itinerary.
