Launch Sunday - "Perhaps..." - 1 Samuel 14

What do you do when you don’t know how things are going to turn out? In 1 Samuel 14, Israel is outnumbered, overwhelmed, and hiding in fear. King Saul is sitting under a tree waiting—but Jonathan decides to move. His statement of faith is simple: “Perhaps the LORD will work for us.” Jonathan didn’t know the outcome. He didn’t have all the details. He simply knew who God was—and that nothing could hinder the Lord from saving. In this message, Pastor Tyler challenges us to stop waiting for perfect circumstances and start putting action behind our faith. Jonathan did what he could do, and God did what Jonathan couldn’t do. What situation have you been praying would change? What step of faith could God be asking you to take? Perhaps God will move. Perhaps God will heal. Perhaps God will restore. Perhaps God will open the door. Faith isn’t believing God owes us the outcome we want. Faith is trusting God even when we don’t know the outcome.
