In Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, the police arrested a 'Baba' (spiritual guru) who used to ensnare young women—specifically B.Tech graduates—through online sermons and devotional singing sessions, and subsequently sexually exploit them. The accused ascetic is himself a mechanical engineer; he would administer intoxicants to the young women before raping them. Furthermore, he blackmailed them by creating obscene videos and photographs. The copyright ownership in the video rests with India Today Group.
