Over the past 25+ years, the mission of Katie's Kids Camp has been to connect kids to Jesus. Our mission is achieved each year through fun, recreation, and worship. The camp is located in Byers, TX. The property has sand volleyball, basketball courts, and access to outdoor games. Campers are transported to other local activities during camp as well. The camp has been in operation since 1992, and adopted the name Katie's Kids Camp in 2003 in memory of Katie Kucharski. Katie was a young girl who was diagnosed with neuroblastoma cancer at the age of three and was selected as the poster child for the American Red Cross in 1999. Katie dreamed of going to camp and experiencing it just like other kids did, and she got that chance in 1999. Katie loved camp and could not wait to return; however, on January 2, 2000, Katie lost her five-year battle and went to heaven to be with Jesus.
