Which causes more raw terminal destruction—pure speed or heavy mass? In today's test, we are putting two completely different .25 caliber slug philosophies head-to-head to see how they perform on real-world targets: The Contender 1: 26-grain Hybrid Slug flying at supersonic speed. The Contender 2: 38-grain H&N Heavy Hollow Point slug flying at subsonic speed. We put both through a series of impact tests: unopened soda cans, watermelons, water-filled milk jugs, and a yellow gourd to analyze hydrostatic shock, expansion, energy transfer, and total structural failure. Which slug takes the crown for sheer terminal damage? Watch to find out!
