These Two Vermonas Don't Need a DAW | KeyStep Pro Dawless Techno

A live dawless jam recorded in one take at my studio in Madrid. No computer, no DAW, no editing — every pattern was written on the fly and every sound was shaped while it was playing. What you hear is the take as it happened. The Arturia KeyStep Pro runs the whole thing: four independent sequencer tracks, one driving the drums, the rest feeding the synth voices. The Vermona DRM1 MKIV gives the kit its body — eight analog percussion channels, tuned by hand between passes. The Vermona perFOURmer MKII answers with four monophonic analog voices in parallel, which is where most of the movement comes from. Everything lands in the PreSonus Classic USB mixer, summed and mixed live, and that stereo bus is the recording.
