Knicks Start 2-4! Is It Time To Worry About The Champs? | Knicks Weekly

The New York Knicks are 2-4 to start the 2026-27 NBA season. Are the defending NBA champions experiencing a championship hangover? After Josh Hart admitted the team is feeling fatigue just six games into the season, CP The Fanchise and Alex Trataros break down what's going wrong in New York. On Knicks Weekly Episode 166, we recap the Knicks' wins over the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls, their disappointing loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, and the biggest concerns surrounding Mike Brown's team. The Knicks are struggling with offensive execution, turnovers, inconsistent effort and late-shot-clock possessions. Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby and Mikal Bridges are still searching for rhythm, while Karl-Anthony Towns has emerged as one of the team's most reliable players. Should the Knicks feature Towns more offensively? Is OG Anunoby trying to do too much off the dribble? And will Mike Brown make changes to his bench rotation when Jose Alvarado returns? We also discuss the Knicks declining Pacome Dadiet's fourth-year option, the Tyler Kolek vs. Jose Alvarado rotation debate, and the upcoming games against the Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls and Cleveland Cavaliers. 00:00 Knicks Weekly Ep. 166: Knicks start 2-4 02:13 Championship hangover and inconsistent play 04:16 Josh Hart admits Knicks are feeling fatigue 05:53 Turnovers, effort and defensive struggles 09:03 Who will provide the Knicks' wake-up call? 11:24 Why the Knicks need to rediscover their defense 13:06 OG Anunoby's changing offensive role 15:23 Why isn't Karl-Anthony Towns the offensive hub? 16:51 Knicks' alarming late-shot-clock shooting numbers 19:15 Can the Knicks take advantage of the upcoming schedule? 21:54 Karl-Anthony Towns: KFTV Player of the Week 24:28 Why the Knicks need to feed Towns more 28:06 Knicks' rim protection and perimeter defense 31:01 Fan debate: OG Anunoby vs. Jalen Brunson 34:37 Jordan Clarkson and the Knicks' bench production 36:11 Tyler Kolek vs. Jose Alvarado rotation debate 42:50 Knicks decline Pacome Dadiet's fourth-year option 45:32 Knicks' draft history under Leon Rose 48:18 Knicks vs. Nets, Bulls and Cavaliers predictions 57:18 Fans react to Jalen Brunson at Harry Styles concert 59:35 Final thoughts and upcoming postgame coverage SPONSORS: Use code KFTV10 for 10% off your first SeatGeek order - https://seatgeek.onelink.me/RrnK/KFTV10 🎙PODCAST LINKS!🎙 🍎Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast... 👀Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4a3CuWL...
