In this episode of Own Thy Stuff, Joe talks with grief expert Holly Gainsboro, founder of Golden Heart Grief Support and Education and host of Creating Space for Grief and Hope. Holly is also Joe’s wife, making this a deeply personal conversation about grief, healing, and supporting others through loss. Holly shares how the death of her late husband led her to grief-support work and explains anticipatory grief, secondary losses, and the many non-death experiences that can cause grief. She and Joe also explore how grief affects the workplace and how leaders can respond with greater compassion, presence, and understanding.
