In this video, I turn my Vintage 1940s Cinema printable kit into a complete file folder production book, from the very first piece of paper to the finished project.
I'll show you the printable kit, including the background papers, vintage-style photographs, and printable ephemera, and then take you through the entire process of building the book. I'll show how I assemble the file-folder pages, create the pockets, layer the papers and photographs, and add all the little production documents and ephemera to bring this fictional 1940s movie studio archive to life.
At the end of the video, you'll also get a full flip-through of the finished production file book.

🎞️ ABOUT THE COLLECTION
Silver Lantern Pictures is a fictional movie studio created especially for this collection. The kit is inspired by the atmosphere of 1940s filmmaking, studio archives, production offices, cinema memorabilia, and behind-the-scenes movie production.
I wanted the collection to feel less like a random assortment of vintage papers and more like opening an actual forgotten studio archive—with photographs, tickets, production files, employee IDs, equipment tags, call sheets, envelopes, posters, and all the little pieces of paperwork that might have accumulated around a working film studio.
I hope this project gives you some ideas for using your own vintage printables and ephemera, whether you're making a junk journal, folio, altered book, scrapbook, or your own little archive.
If you enjoyed the video, like, subscribe, and leave me a comment—I'd love to know what you think of the finished production file! ❤️
