I’m Miss Detectorist UK — artist, filmmaker and seeker of lost stories beneath the UK soil. This week I’m double detecting: first digging up tales at an organised dig in historic Wiltshire, then I get a private invite to a new and very exciting permission. And afterwards for a special excursion, you’re coming with me to wander through the atmospheric Neolithic long barrow at West Kennett, nestled in the magical and ancient Avebury World Heritage landscape. Expect: sun-kissed fields, interesting artefacts, ancient stones and hidden histories... and that familiar thrill of the unknown beneath my feet.
