U S 311 End to End Tour ( U S 52 Winston-Salem, NC to U S 58 Near Danville, VA)

A short 62 mile long U.S. highway running from Winston-Salem, NC to the far western end of Danville, VA. Over the years this route has seen different end points on both sides. Prior to 2019, 311 ended at U.S. 220 southeast of Winston-Salem and roughly 20 miles south of Greensboro. The new I-74 extension changed it. Strangely it doesn't intersect or go anywhere near U.S. 11.
