Continuing through The Lost Village, after having met up with Hammer, Soma runs into two more familiar faces. They were Yoko Belnades and Julius Belmont. They were also sent here by Arikado to investigate Celia's cult. Neither of them wanted Soma there, because they still remember back then when he was revealed to be the next Dracula. They don't wanna take any chances of having to put him down for good should something terrible happen with this investigation. But Soma was determined to seek Celia out for himself. She tried to kill him, and also put poor, precious Mina in danger. He wasn't about to take that all sitting down. ---- Realizing that Soma was determined, Julius decided to race ahead to search for Celia, leaving Yoko behind and irritated. For now, Yoko gave Soma a Magic Seal, which you'll need to use against bosses. There are multiple Magic Seals, with each new one being more complex to perform than the last. In the original DS version of this game, you had to use the Touchscreen to draw out the symbols of these seals. In Domnius Collection, however, you just need to remember a button combination. In the Switch version of this game, Magic Seal 1 is unleashed by pressing Y, B, A. The Seal will automatically be used against boss doors, but you'll need to remember how to use them manually against most bosses to finish them off. If you fail a Magic Seal, you'll have to damage the boss again before it can be set up. Yoko will be following you around for just a short time. Up until she opens the first boss door for you, herself. ---------- The first boss of this game is the Flying Armor, which uses two huge swords to try and strike Soma with. Beating this boss, you automatically get its Blue Soul, which slows Soma's fall. From there, Yoko will part ways with Soma and find a spot in the village to set up how she may be able to help him further. ---------- The room that I reach in 6:59 is basically your hub, as you will be coming back here a lot to converse with your allies, here. First off, to the bottom-right of this area, you'll see that Hammer found a place to set up his next shop for Soma. You can once again by items and equipment from him. And... once again... he's just so smitten by Yoko's presence, but isn't really confident enough to talk to her. Soma really doesn't care about that. ---- To the bottom-left of this area is where you'll find Yoko's own business, which is what she'll use to communicate with Julius. Here, Yoko can use the Souls you've gained from monsters and merge them with weapons you've collected, upgrading them to make them more powerful. She can also release (or in other words, discard) whatever Souls you have, if you wanna do that, that is, because some Souls' effects are boosted the more of them you have at once.\\ Visit both Yoko & Hammer often, not just for what they can do for you, but also to just see how they converse with Soma about his adventure and any further information you can get from them. ---------- After traversing more of The Lost Village, I eventually start the next area, the Wizardy Lab.
