Ecco the Dolphin - SEGA Mega-CD, Sega PC - TRANCE REMIX: 06. The vents

On the SEGA side, we are taking a dive into one of the most hypnotic and mesmerizing soundtracks in retro gaming history: Ecco the Dolphin (Sega CD / PC version)! 🐬🌊✨ Unlike the cartridge release, the Sega CD and PC versions featured an unbelievable CD-audio soundtrack composed by Spencer Nilsen. Interestingly, back in the late 90s, I barely played the game itself—but I popped the game CD straight into my Hi-Fi stereo sound system! I was instantly captivated by its dreamy, atmospheric, and ethereal soundscapes. 🎧📻 Remixing these underwater synth landscapes into deep, progressive, and driving Trance tracks was a natural fit for such spacey, immersive music! 🎹🔊 🤖🎬 Behind-the-Scenes Note: As always, full transparency: while the musical remixes and visual artworks are created with the help of AI tools, the video editing is strictly 100% manual and AI-free! 💻🔥 🏎️ The Nintendo Connection: While we swim through the depths of Ecco's ocean on the SEGA side, we are also running a parallel high-speed series on the Nintendo side with Diddy Kong Racing on N64! 🦍🏆 Did you ever listen to your game CDs in a regular CD player back in the day?
