School Was Built for a World That No Longer Exists

Your downloadable episode 1 recap worksheet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1a4kK... Your child is doing everything right. Homework done, grades fine, schedule full and something still feels off. You're not being an anxious parent. You're paying attention. I'm Rekha Magon, co-founder of Boundless Life, and in this first episode of WorldschoolingTV, I break down why traditional school feels misaligned with your child's future — and why it has nothing to do with your child, your parenting, or your school. It's a design problem. Modern schooling was built around 160 years ago to produce reliable factory workers: punctual, obedient, standardized. But the world your kids will actually live and work in rewards something completely different: adaptability, creativity, emotional intelligence, and cross-cultural fluency. Those are exactly the skills AI can't replace, and the ones school was never designed to teach. This is the Performance-Learning Gap and once you see it, you can't unsee it. If you've ever wondered whether there's a better way to raise and educate your kids, through worldschooling, homeschooling, unschooling, alternative education, or simply growing more curious, capable, future-ready humans, this channel is for you. In this video, I'll cover: • Why "doing well in school" and "being prepared for the future" aren't the same thing • Where the modern school system actually came from and why it hasn't changed • The Performance-Learning Gap, explained • Why AI is making rote, test-based skills obsolete • The Three Lens Questions: a simple tool to tell whether your child is just busy, or actually growing 👇 Tell me in the comments: when did your child last come home genuinely excited by something they learned. Not because it was on a test, but because it changed how they see the world? #worldschooling #alternativeeducation #futureofeducation #homeschooling #unschooling 🔔 Subscribe for new episodes on rethinking education for the world your kids are actually growing up in:    / @worldschoolingtv   📖 Learn more about Boundless Life: https://www.boundless.life/ ✉️ Join the newsletter: https://www.boundless.life/magazine FIND ME ON SOCIAL Instagram:   / rekha.magon   Linkedin:   / rekha-tak-magon   Website: https://www.boundless.life/ Business Contact: rekha.magon@boundless.life
