Protect Your Skull Presents Proclamation for Concussion Awareness Month to HBCU'S JCSU & FSU

In recognition of September 2026 as Concussion Awareness Month, Tracey Suggs and Foster Wilkins, cofounders of Protect Your Skull Health & Safety, proudly present copies of the City of Charlotte proclamation, issued by Mayor Rob Harrington and supported by Councilmember Renée Perkins Johnson, to the athletic programs at Johnson C. Smith University and Fayetteville State University. Today, we recognize these two prestigious HBCU institutions and their athletic programs for their commitment to the health, safety, and well-being of student-athletes and to playing all sports safer and smarter, 365 days a year. Receiving these proclamations are Dr. Denisha Hendricks, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Athletics for Johnson C. Smith University, and Anthony T.
