macOS Feral launcher setup for The Dawnless Days mod for Attila: Total War

How to install The Dawnless Days on Mac (Steam / Feral Total War: ATTILA) Windows install guides and the TDD launcher do not work on macOS. This walkthrough uses a small helper script that hard-links the packs into the Feral data folder and writes user.script.txt with the correct load order. ⚠️ Mac-only. Download the Manual Beta + Manual Patch from Nexus. Extract the tdd_*.pack files. Create this folder (quotes matter in Terminal — the path has spaces): mkdir -p "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Feral Interactive/Total War ATTILA/VFS/Local/local_mods/TheDawnlessDays" open "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Feral Interactive/Total War ATTILA/VFS/Local/local_mods/TheDawnlessDays" Copy all tdd_*.pack files into that folder. Run: ./tdd-apply-feral-macos.sh apply Launch Attila from Steam. On Mac there is no “Run user script mods” checkbox — user.script.txt from the script is what enables the mod. Leave Workshop mod checkboxes off for TDD. If nothing loads, make sure Feral isn’t blocking mods (DisableAllMods should be 0). Quit after the title screen, then run: ./tdd-apply-feral-macos.sh check Success = modified.log lines start with “Mod:” (not “unknown file”).
