Song Lesson by Varalakshmi Anandkumar-Endaro Mahanubhavulu- Part.1

One of the favourites among Saint Thyagaraja s magnificent Pancharatna Kritis, this piece in Raga Sri has been the focus of innumerable teaching as well as performance videos. This video from Journey into Carnatic Music handles the Pallavi and Anupallavi of the song. The lyrics are not being posted since books and websites with song notation and lyrics are available in abundance. Moreover, there is al.ost perfect unity in the way it is sung with very minute changes from one patanthara to the other.
