1929 Historic Old Otis Gearless Traction Elevator Equipment - Amazing drive machine and relays!

This is definitely an old piece of gem! Definitely one of the best and most detailed video I have ever gotten of this piece of beauty. I absolutely love the action of this drive machine. Not only do I love the gear system, but also the brakes, along with the relays. DISCLAIMER: Elevator machines are VERY DANGEROUS!!!! They contain moving parts that are high voltage that can result injury, death, and/or liability issue (unless you safely know what you are exactly doing). This was done under supervision by a certified and licensed elevator technician who is very well trusted enough to leave me up here while he runs the elevator for me to get this video. Remember, DO NOT GET NEAR OR TOUCH ANYTHING!!!!!!!! My Website: http://jimlielevators.weebly.com/ (C) 2025 - JimLiElevators
