You have an entire day to yourself, so naturally, you will spend it wandering around a Soviet-era apartment complex and revisiting the sacred rituals of childhood. *DETSTVO* is a game about childhood memories—because apparently remembering them wasn't enough. Now you get to experience them in first person. The world of the game Five-story panel buildings. Faded carpets. Shell garages. Poplar fluff everywhere. A dusty playground with a rusty swing and a climbing frame that probably wouldn't survive a modern safety inspection. A grocery store with an iron door and a bell. And a construction site behind the houses where you're explicitly forbidden to go. Which, of course, makes it considerably more interesting. Dynamic lighting, courtyard sounds, and interiors recreated from photographs and childhood memories. Original music inspired by the era: guitars from nearby windows, tape recorders on windowsills, and the radio playing in the kitchen. No monsters. No weapons. No apocalypse. Just a day from childhood, recreated in first person with enough nostalgia to make you wonder where the last twenty years went. Meet your parents. Give them a hug.
