This is a play-through using Adam in the PS1 game Battle Arena Toshinden 3. Read on below for more information...
Adam is the sub-boss and counterpart for Rungo in the game. He is an unlockable playable character.
===== HOW TO UNLOCK ADAM =====
Beat Arcade mode with Rungo. Once you've done that, Adam will be available below Rungo on the character select screen.
===== ABOUT ADAM =====
Adam is a mechanical and cybernetic robot that is built to simply eliminate it's targets. Despite being built with the intention of being "mindless", it turns out that Adam possesses self-thoughts and emotions in his cybernetic brain.
When he was on one of his missions, he met a human woman and fell in love with her. Knowing that being a robot makes it unlikely that he could ever form a relationship with her, Adam then wished to have a human body so that he could do so. It is at this point that Abel explained and promised him that he can gain a human body on the condition that he participated in the BAT3 tournament and carry out the Soshiki's plans.
===== GAMEPLAY =====
Adam is your typical "transforming" mech/robot which gives him some unorthodox moves. He is also armed with a cannon as well, but it is not as long-ranged as you would think. He has very limited combo strings.
===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====
---- In his two extra costumes, he has a human head which looks like Zangief.
---- He does not seem to have a throw.
---- In the Japanese version of the game, his air Soul strike does not use up a stock.
===== ABOUT BAT3 =====
BAT3's fighting environments opts for a walled field of play rather than an open field ring in the prequels. This obviously means that there are no ring outs anymore, and instead loads of clashes, slams and rebounds. The speed of the gameplay is definitely faster and it is far more hectic than the prequels, with more combo possibilities in strings and juggles.
Each regular character has a "personal boss" which can be unlocked by completing Arcade mode with him/her. The personal bosses are semi-clone counterparts of the regular characters with some differences in gameplay.
