MTA New York City Bus : On-Board 2018 New Flyer XN60 "Xcelsior" CNG Artic 1007 On The Bx12 +SBS+

Seen here is a ride on-board 2018 New Flyer XN60 "Xcelsior" CNG Artic 1007 on the Bx12 +Select Bus Service+ to Bay Plaza. The video was split into two parts because of traffic around the Pelham Bay Park area. I had an audio recording of this bus, but it unfortunately got corrupted. You can really hear how loud this bus is, even with the HVAC on. In a pretty interesting turn of events, they decided to send these new buses out on the Bx12 +Select Bus Service+. These buses were supposed to be for the Bx6 +Select Bus Service+, but because of various issues, they haven't made their debut on the line just yet. So they decided to send them out on the Bx12 +Select Bus Service+ to get road tested and basically, to not have them sitting around in the depot. These buses can also be found on the Bx15 and Bx19, with a chance of one showing up on the Bx36. Eventually, they can be largely found on those 3 routes mentioned. In the near future, these will also be in Brooklyn along the B35 route.
