And then out of the misty showers, a trike appears on finals. And another... i know these guys, they are from Gympie and have flown about an hour to be here, even though the conditions are not that ideal. And who is this arriving overhead? That's now three! You are right this isn't a trike - it's got four wheels. This blue machine is an Airborne XT-912 Tourer with Arrow wing. The Airborne M3 with 912 powerplant is next up. The wing was specifically developed for these trikes. This one looks familiar too! This trike is an Airborne Outback Tundra with 582 engine. It has a strutted wing and tundra tyes. Seems to work very well. Probably not the quickest tool in the shed though. How rude haha Something from the USA... I vaguely remember flying - this is me and passenger getting some photos and video in my P&M QuikR 912ULS. Very nice! errr - no - not biased! The All American Revo - this one I believe to have been manufactured in 2010. One of only 2 or 3 in Australia! Thanks Larry! Larry comment below if you saw this! There are 4 trikes plus me at the Maryborough Airport, but the others didn't come out to play today. So total active trikes including visitors today is 5, 3 Airbornes, 1 Revo and 1 P&M. Good enough considering the weather. The weather deteriorated and then improved. The boys had some lunch and began the trip back home to Gympie. Thanks for coming.
