I Spent a Day in a Remote Kurdish Village Where Traditional Life Still Survives 🌿

What does real village life look like when food, work, music, and hospitality still come from home? 🌿 I spent a day with local families in Ka Rostam and discovered a simple way of life that is still very much alive. We walked through family gardens filled with fresh tomatoes, watermelon, mulberries, walnuts, and local peppers. I visited an old wooden-roof home, tasted homemade kolereh with yogurt, saw traditional fruit leather made by the family, and shared tea with the people who welcomed me. Later, two local men began to sing — completely unplanned — turning a quiet afternoon in the garden into one of the most memorable moments of the day. No actors. No script. No staged scenes.
