Alice Cooper - Anna Cara Solo / Brutal Planet - Spartanburg, SC 4/29/2026

Alice's Attic Tour - Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, Spartanburg, South Carolina - April 29, 2026. I don't usually record live performances since watching through a viewscreen means missing the full experience, but a growing interest in photography had me experimenting with camera settings and testing the results, so here we are. I tried to keep the performer(s) and video screen in frame together, but some angles made that impossible, so I zoomed in when I had to. A few transitions are a little rough as I felt my way through, but not bad for what it is. I was fortunate to be up front, house right, because a big part of why I was there was to see Anna Cara perform. Stepping in for Nita Strauss at just 22, she’s no hype. She’s a guitarist in the right place at the right time, seizing her moment and delivering. She struck me as someone confident in her talent, unleashing dynamic and precise, articulate playing, even at speed. I hope I captured something of her presence and performance, complementing a very polished band rounded out by Ryan Roxie, Tommy Henriksen, Chuck Garric and Glen Sobel.
