Audi Q7 3rd Row Seat Stuck? Fix It Without Removing the Seats (2017–2026)

Is one of the power-folding third-row seats in your 2017–2026 Audi Q7 mechanically stuck? In this video, I show how I got the seat moving again without removing either third-row seat or dismantling the entire rear interior of the vehicle. This repair is intended for an Audi Q7 third-row seat that is mechanically jammed or bound up. If your seat has no power, makes no motor sound, or is showing an electrical fault, you may be dealing with a different problem that should be diagnosed first. I was inspired by ‪@BrettMedia‬ and his helpful Audi Q7 third-row seat repair video:    • Audi 3rd Row Seat Fail!   Brett’s video helped me understand the underlying problem and repair, but his method involved removing much of the rear interior and taking the seats out of the vehicle. After studying the mechanism, I found a way to access and correct the problem while leaving the seats installed. If your Audi Q7 rear seat won’t raise, lower, fold, or return to its proper position because it is physically stuck, this approach may save you a considerable amount of disassembly. This applies to 2017–2026 Audi Q7 models equipped with power-folding third-row seats. Important: Use caution when working around powered seat mechanisms.
