What Happened When I Saw Blood for the First Time? | Pawsitive Insights- 01 | The Mystic Vet

Hey everyone! Welcome to the first video of my new series where I'll be sharing my experiences, learnings, and challenges as a veterinary student. In this video, I dive into my chaotic first week of vet school. I'll take you through the initial excitement and the sudden reality check I faced during a buffalo tail amputation surgery. Despite my initial confidence, the sight of blood and the intensity of the procedure caught me off guard. Through this experience, I learned a valuable lesson: things are often different in practice than they appear in theory. It's crucial to be prepared for the unexpected and to approach every situation with an open mind and a willingness to learn. I'll also share some tips on how to manage the stress and demands of veterinary school. If you found this video helpful or interesting, please let me know in the comments. Your feedback motivates me to continue sharing my journey. Also, if you have similar experiences or stories, feel free to share them below!
