Authors Roundtable: Stories from the Written Path w/Mary Korch, Kris Paulsen & Ectorius Angel

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to another roundtable episode on the show. Today we are joined by two newcomers and a wandering scribe alum. Joining us first is Mary Korch, who writes stories that live at the intersection of the seen and unseen — where ordinary life brushes up against the magical, the mysterious, and the beautiful. As a former digital nomad who spent years working and living across dozens of countries, she brings a rare cross-cultural lens to storytelling. Mary believes the world is far more vivid than most of us dare to notice. She Saw in Color is her first novel — written for the ones still willing to look. Next is Kris Paulsen, a passionate writer and avid reader who enjoys crafting stories that transport readers to new worlds. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, reading, crocheting, crafting, and traveling. She currently lives on the West Coast with her husband, three kids, and two dogs. And finally, we have author and poet Ectorius Angel. Inspired by the classics, Ectorius shares how instrumental writing has been in his life and how he’s channeled his need to write into his poetry. Ectorius has also been an assistant editor at the University of Winchester in England for the university magazine Vortex. Recently, he’s collaborated with other poets and writers on a prose collection, including “Gallery of Ghosts” and “Beneath the Midnight Sun,” which are featured in “Shattered Reflections.” This collection focuses on the raw emotions that can be hard to navigate when dealing with loss and, later, the healing process.
