RJ Corman and Norfolk Southern on New York's Southern Tier.

On October 13, 2026 I made my way to Owego, NY in Tioga County. After finding the Owego & Harford engine house track looking kind of sparse, I found out from an RJ Corman employee that there was a train switching Upstate Shredding a few miles to the north and they were due back in the early afternoon. After getting lunch, I was able to catch RJ Corman GP9R 9009 and Owego & Harford U23B bringing back a cut of scrap gondolas to the Norfolk Southern interchange in Owego.
