CBBC continuity and promos (2/3/1984)

The closing link of Wildtrack (the last in the series) with Su Ingle and Michael Jordan, part of a promo for tomorrow's Saturday Superstore, then out of Grange Hill (also the last in the series), around The Wombles, and then it's goodbye for the day from Robot the proto-CBBC mascot. Following that, everything coming up tonight on BBC1 (including Doctor Who and The Superstars), and then the first few seconds of Sixty Minutes. I've put "CBBC" in the title, but of course Children's BBC itself didn't launch until September 1985. This is what we had before the Broom Cupboard era, with just the regular continuity announcer and the occasional Ceefax graphics to differentiate the strand from your regular Beeb. I love old clips like this. Many thanks to Spencer for lending me this tape. (If you're a copyright holder and have any objections, please feel free to contact me. Alternatively, I haven't monetised the video, so you're welcome to do so, and that way everybody wins.)
