Thai capital flooding: Police help evacuate thousands of people from homes

In Bangkok, tens of thousands of people remain stranded after floods hit the Thai capital earlier this weekend. In some areas, floodwaters rose to more than a metre, and despite breaks in the rain, they have yet to recede. The government is deploying more than 10,000 troops to help with evacuations.
