Since my brother and sister-in-law moved in with us, we had to rethink how we were using the space at home. I had been using two rooms — one for sleeping and having my own space, and another for my makeup, content creation and work. But my parents were sleeping in the hall, and that honestly didn’t sit right with me. So I decided to give up one of my rooms and make a proper space for my mom and dad. This vlog is basically all the behind-the-scenes of us reorganizing the house, moving furniture, shifting things around and trying to make enough space for everyone. And while we were doing all of this, I also wanted to say something about how people speak about my family. I think sometimes people are very quick to make assumptions about who is adjusting for whom, or who is contributing what. The reality is that we are a family, we all contribute in our own ways, and nobody is bothering anybody. When you live together as a family, adjusting for each other is simply a part of it. So I hope people can be a little mindful before making comments about my family or our living situation. Of course, amidst all the serious conversations, there was plenty of family chaos too 😂 My brother somehow managed to tear his shorts while trying to pull something, my mom’s temper made an appearance, my dad was being his usual lazy self (although he wasn’t feeling completely well), and I was also questioning my own laziness throughout the day. 😭 After all the shifting, moving and organizing, we finally managed to set up my room and my mom and dad’s room properly. It was a tiring day, but seeing the house come together and knowing everyone has their own comfortable space made it completely worth it. 🤍 Just a very real day at home — family, adjustments, chaos, funny moments and a whole lot of organizing.
