Shop-made Steady rest

Make a quick, simple but strong and awesome steady rest for your lathe! I have an old Atlas (machinists lathe) and it works amazingly well! Of course, I don't show dimensions, since your sizes would more than likely be different than this one. But I show you how I made mine, and even share how to make yours even better!
