Badge & Company - For You (1977 Kansas Private Press Country Rock LP)

Artist: Badge & Company Track: For You Album: Badge & Company (Side 2, Track 4) Label: Wilmarco (Augusta, Kansas) Catalog Number: DS-LPS-1 Release Year: 1977 Genre: Country Rock / Rural Rock / Flatland Rock & Roll Personnel: Jerry D. Williams - Guitar, Vocals Virgil Eugene Martin - Percussion, Vocals Randy L. Cowan - Bass, Fiddle, Lead Vocals The album closes with "For You," an incredibly ambitious, sprawling 13-minute and 55-second epic that takes up nearly half of the entire LP. Moving through multiple movements of dynamic rural jamming, this track represents a fascinating and completely uninhibited relic of late-1970s independent Midwestern studio exploration. This audio is transferred from a rare original vinyl pressing in my personal collection of historical midcentury Midwestern records. All rights belong to the original artists and copyright holders.
