Exhausted from Farm Work, Duong Still Cares for the Baby, Chickens, and Goats Because I had been working tirelessly every day to improve the farm, my body gradually became exhausted and I eventually fell ill. Even though I felt weak, I still had to feed the chickens, lead the goats out to graze, prepare a simple bowl of porridge, and take my medicine before continuing with the day's responsibilities. Whenever I felt like giving up, seeing Trúc Lam resting peacefully and growing up healthy reminded me that I couldn't stop. Knowing she was safe, comfortable, and surrounded by the love of our family gave me the strength to keep moving forward, one step at a time. Life in the mountains is never easy, but every challenge teaches me to become stronger. I hope to recover soon so I can continue building a better home and a brighter future for my family.
