It Takes 7-10 Days To Create A Pitch

As part of our ongoing celebration of volunteers during Volunteer Week, we sat down to chat with the groundskeeper for Thornbury CC, Jon Oakey. He has worked on the pitches for 25 years and knows what it takes to produce a high-quality cricket wicket. He is also part of the Count Pitch Advisors, who help other cricket clubs create the best pitches they can.
